Nowhere did I condemn the use of alternative PDF readers, or say that this program was any better. I hate Adobe Reader with a passion, but this software is far from useless. It's like web design and having to test pages in IE. And they don't always look 100% the same from application to application. Adobe Reader *has* to be my main testing application, because all of the customers I distribute my PDFs to are going to be opening them with Adobe.
